Allen will start Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Allen surrendered two goals on 25 shots in the Blues’ win over the Avalanche on Saturday. Allen has won each of his last two starts with a 2.48 GAA and .906 SV%. The 24-year-old net minder gets the call with the Kings in town. He is 5-1-1 with a 2.59 GAA and .893 SV% at Scottrade Center this season.

Bernier has been red-hot as of late, winning seven of his last nine outings entering play tonight. Tonight he will take on a Ducks team who have won seven in a row.

Allen allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Blues 6-3 win over the Islanders on Thursday. It was a nice bounce-back game for Allen, who was pulled in his previous start, also vs. the Isles. Tonight he has a strong matchup vs. an Avalanche team who have lost five of seven and sit 21st in the league in scoring.

Allen was yanked after giving up three goals on 12 shots in the first period of Saturday’s comeback win over the Islanders. He has actually been overshadowed by Martin Brodeur since Marty signed, but Allen gets another crack agh the Isles tonight; this time at home where he is 4-1-1 with a 2.51 GAA and .893 SV% this season.

Bernier will make a career-high ninth straight start tonight vs. Calgary.

Bernier made 44 saves on 46 shots in the Leafs 5-2 win over the Canucks on Saturday. He was spotted a 4-0 win, but Bernier held down the fort while the Canucks attempted a furious comeback. Tonight, he gets the Flames at home, where he is 8-6-0 with a 2.93 GAA and .910 SV%.

Bernier allowed five goals on 26 shots in the Leafs 5-3 loss to the Devils on Thursday. Despite the rough outing, the Leafs refuse to turn to James Reimer, so it will be Bernier again tonight vs. the Canucks. Bernier is 7-6-0 with a 3.01 GAA and .905 SV% at the ACC this season.

Allen allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Blues 4-1 loss to the Blackhawks on Wednesday. Martin Brodeur struggled in his Blues’ debut on Thursday night, so they will go back to Allen this afternoon vs. a red-hot Islanders team. Allen is 4-2-0 with a 2.14 GAA and .929 SV% on the road.

Bernier gave up three goals on 38 shots in the Maple Leafs 5-3 win vs. the Stars on Tuesday. He has now won four of his last five games with a 2.38 GAA and .923 SV%. He draws a real nice matchup tonight against a Devils team who have lost five in a row and seven of their last eight while be outscored 20-14.

Bernier stopped 35 of 37 shots in the Maple Leafs 6-2 win over the Capitals on Saturday. He has gone 3-0-1 with a 2.23 GAA and .924 SV% in his last four starts and has clearly re-solidified himself as the Leafs clear number-1. Tonight he takes on a Stars team who are 3-4-1 in their last eight.

Allen stopped 36 of 38 shots in the Blues’ 3-2 shootout win over the Wild on Saturday. He has won three of his last four with a 2.78 GAA and .901 SV%. Tonight’s will be special for the 24-year-old, who will have future Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur as his backup. He draws a tough matchup, but catches a break with Antti Raanta getting the start for Chicago.

Allen stopped 13 of 16 shots in a win over the Oilers last night. It was not the prettiest outing but he got the job done. With Brian Elliott out it is no surprise to see Allen start the back-to-back. Tonight should be a little more difficult in Minnesota.
