On May 8, the winning ping-pong ball among 11 hopeful NHL teams was drawn, with the Chicago Blackhawks earning the right to draft generational talent Connor Bedard of the WHL’s Regina Pats. With a stacked 2023 Draft class, even the second-place winner Anaheim Ducks will land a difference maker, likely Adam Fantilli out of the University of Michigan.</p>
