Hellebuyck will start in San Jose on Friday.

The Jets will turn to Hellebuyck between the pipes for the 11th time this season when they travel to San Jose to take on the Sharks on Friday. Hellebuyck was unfortunate to be tagged with the loss in his last outing, stopping 23 of the 25 shots he faced in a 3-0 defeat in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The reigning Hart Trophy winner is a good bet to get back in the win column on Friday, as the Jets enter action at -190 on the money line.

Connor Hellebuyck

Quick will start in Detroit on Friday.

The Rangers suffered their fourth shutout loss through 14 games this season (6-6-2) and hope the veteran presence of Jonathan Quick between the pipes can return them to the win column. The 39-year-old Quick has been used sparingly early in the 2025-26 season, but has been excellent when called upon, posting a stellar 1.35 GAA and a .941 SV% in three games (2-1-0). The Rangers enter Friday's contest as +107 road underdogs against a Red Wings team that is 5-1-0 on home ice this season.

With Ramus Dahlin (persona) away from the team, Jones has earned his second call-up of the season but is still awaiting his first NHL action of the season. The 29-year-old Demko has been solid in Vancouver's crease this season, posting a 2.57 GAA and .911 SV% in nine games (5-4-0). Vancouver recalled Jiri Patera from Abbotsford (AHL) in anticipation of Demko being unable to play for at least one of the team's two games this weekend.
