Daccord will start against the Kings on Wednesday.

Daccord will be hoping to snap a personal five-game losing streak when he and the Kraken host the Kings on Wednesday. The 29-year-old netminder's struggles continued in his last start, when he allowed four goals on just 25 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Red Wings on Saturday. Daccord carries a 7-7-4 record and .891 SV% into Wednesday night's game, where the Kraken enter action at -120 on the money line.

Joey Daccord
Forsberg will start in Seattle on Wednesday.

After scoring two or fewer goals in seven of their last nine games (3-3-3), the Kings have erupted to outscore their opponents 10-2 in their last two games (2-0-0). Darcy Kuemper has started four straight, so the Kings will turn to Forsberg on Wednesday against the Seattle Kraken. The 33-year-old Forsberg was solid in his most recent outing, saving 19 of 20 shots (.950 SV%) in a 2-1 overtime win over the Vancouver Canucks. Forsberg has a 2.69 GAA and .894 SV% in eight games this season (4-2-2). The Kings enter the action on Wednesday as -146 road favorites against a Kraken team on a five-game losing skid (0-5-0).

Vejmelka will start against the Panthers on Wednesday.

The Mammoth will hand Vejmelka his 24th start of the season when they host the Panthers on Tuesday. Vejmelka was tagged with the loss in his last start, allowing three goals on 26 shots in a 4-2 defeat at the hands of the Kings on Monday. The 29-year-old netminder carries a 12-8-2 record and .894 SV% into Wednesday night's matchup, where the Mammoth enter action at -110 on the money line.

Karel Vejmelka
Knight will start against the Rangers on Wednesday.

After an outstanding start to his first full season with the Blackhawks, posting a solid 2.50 GAA and .924 SV% in 13 games (7-3-3), Knight has struggled to maintain that excellence, posting a 3.0 GAA and .889 SV% in his last seven (2-3-2). He has a sub- .900 SV% in five of his last seven games, but will be motivated to have a strong performance with his team trying to break a two-game slump where they have been outscored 13-1. The Blackhawks enter Wednesday's contest as +122 home underdogs against a New York Rangers team with points in four straight games (2-0-2).

Spencer Knight
Gibson will start in Calgary on Wednesday.

The Red Wings acquired Gibson in the offseason to stabilize an inconsistent crease over the past few seasons, but he added to the uncertainty early in his tenure. That said, the 32-year-old Gibson could be turning a corner, winning three straight, and coming off an outstanding 39-save performance in a 4-0 win over the Vancouver Canucks for his first shutout in a Red Wings uniform. Gibson has a 3.35 GAA and .881 SV% in 16 appearances (7-7-1). The Red Wings enter Wednesday's contest as slight -109 road favorites against a Calgary Flames team on a three-game winning streak.

John Gibson
Kuzmenko is expected to be a healthy scratch in Seattle on Wednesday.

Kuzmenko has remained on the top powerplay unit but has since been heavily protected at even strength, seemingly not having the trust of the Kings' coaching staff. The 29-year-old Kuzmenko was excellent with the Kings after being acquired before the trade deadline in 2024-25, scoring 17 points (5G / 12A) in 22 games, but has not been able to replicate that success in 2025-26. He played a season-low 6:58 time-on-ice in the Kings' most recent game and has just one point (1G / 0A) in his last 13. Jeff Malott will draw into the lineup as Kuzmenko's replacement.

Forsberg was the first goalie off the ice at Los Angeles' morning skate.

Pettersson (upper-body) will travel with Vancouver on their upcoming road trip but is unlikely to play vs. Buffalo on Thursday.

Pettersson participated in warmups on Saturday but was unable to play and has missed two straight games. It is unlikely he will play on Thursday, but his injury does not appear to be long-term, and he aims to return to the lineup on the Canucks' upcoming five-game road trip. The 27-year-old Pettersson was having a semi-resurgent season before his injury, with 22 points (8G / 14A) in 28 games.

Elias Pettersson
Frederic left practice after taking a puck to the face and did not return.

Frederic exited practice with an apparent upper-body injury and did not return. It is unclear if he will be ready to suit up when the Oilers return to action on Thursday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 27-year-old Frederic has only three points (2G / 1A) in 30 games this season and has struggled making his presence felt since joining the Oilers last season.

Trent Frederic
Bjugstad (upper-body) will be out at least five days.

Bjugstad was limited to only 7:31 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Boston Bruins, exiting the game with an upper-body injury. The 33-year-old Bjugstad has five pints (4G / 1A) in 25 games and is expected to miss at least a couple games. The recently signed Robby Fabbri will make his season debut, drawing in for Bjugstad.

Nick Bjugstad
Fabbri will make his season debut on Thursday in Nashville.

Fabbri has battled a myriad of injuries in his career, making his return to the NHL this season a challenging one. He signed a PTO with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) last week, scoring two points (1G / 1A) in three games, and ultimately earned himself a one-year, two-way contract. The 29-year-old Fabbri has 216 points (106G / 110A) in 442 career NHL games, but has only played more than 56 games in a season once in the last decade. With Nick Bjugstad (upper body) expected to miss at least a couple games, Fabbri will draw into the lineup as his replacement.

Bobrovsky will start in Utah on Wednesday.

Bobrovsky had a rough performance in his most recent outing, allowing six goals on 31 shots (.806 SV%), but salvaged an overtime victory in a rollercoaster 7-6 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 37-year-old veteran goalie will hope for a better outing when he returns to the crease on Wednesday, but his recent stretch of play has been concerning, allowing three or more goals in five of his last seven games (3-3-1), posting a 3.40 GAA and .860 SV%. The Panthers enter Wednesday's contest as slight -108 road favorites against a Utah Mammoth team on a two-game losing skid (0-2-0).

Hellebuyck (lower-body) returned to practice on Wednesday.

Hellebuyck has not played since November 15th and was given a 4-6 week recovery timeline after undergoing a minor Arthroscopic knee procedure, but appears to be targeting the early end as a return after practicing on Wednesday. The Jets have gone 3-7-1 in 11 games without Hellebuyck and will be eager to regain the services of their three-time Vezina-winning goalie. The 32-year-old Hellebuyck was showcasing a 2.51 GAA and .913 SV% in 14 games (8-6-0) before his injury.

Thrun has a good chance to make his Maple Leafs' debut on Thursday vs. San Jose.

With Dakota Mermis (lower body) placed on Injured Reserve, the Maple Leafs have recalled Thrun from the Marlies (AHL). The 24-year-old Thrun was a regular on San Jose's blueline the past two seasons, but has spent the entirety of the 2025-26 campaign in the AHL, where he has nine points (3G / 6A) in 19 games with the Marlies.

Henry Thrun
Rielly (illness) missed practice on Wednesday but is expected to play vs. San Jose on Thursday.

Rielly is battling an illness, but will be ready to suit up when the Maple Leafs return to action on Thursday against the San Jose Sharks. Already battling a myriad of injuries on their blueline, the Maple Leafs would ill-afford to be without their icetime leader, Morgan Rielly. The 31-year-old Rielly is putting together an excellent season, with 22 points (5G / 17A) in 28 games.
