<p>The <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/boston-bruins/news">Boston Bruins,</a> <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/chicago-blackhawks/news">Chicago Blackhawks</a>, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/new-york-rangers/news">New York Rangers</a> and several other teams might feature some new threads in 2025-26, with the three Original Six franchises among those poised to get new jerseys for the upcoming season.&nbsp;</p>



<p>On Monday, hockey uniform <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUw-ncZBGNc">YouTube channel, Icethetics, </a>reported that four teams, including the Bruins, Rangers, and Blackhawks, could sport new home and away setups, likely alongside the <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/utah-hockey-club/news">Utah Hockey Club’s</a> first logo-branded jerseys.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Additionally, Icethetics reported that the <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/pittsburgh-penguins/news">Pittsburgh Penguins</a> are set to introduce a new alternate jersey and retire their current alternate, while the <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/florida-panthers/news">Florida Panthers </a>and <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/tampa-bay-lightning/news">Tampa Bay Lightning</a> would introduce alternates for outdoor games.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Rangers and Blackhawks jerseys would feature a centennial theme focused on the clubs’ 100th seasons, similar to what the Bruins skated in through the 2023-24 season. Meanwhile, a new <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/minnesota-wild/news">Minnesota Wild</a> look would celebrate their 25th anniversary.&nbsp;</p><div class="injected-ad injected-video" data-nn-ad-tech-injection-count="0" data-nn-ad-tech-max-gap="130" data-nn-ad-tech-current-gap="141"></div>



<p>Icethetics reported on each of the NHL’s 32 clubs in the video posted Monday, dividing the teams into tiers of “all but confirmed, still very likely, so there’s a chance, and don’t bet on it.”</p>



<p>Included in the secondary “still very likely” category were the <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/ottawa-senators/news">Ottawa Senators</a>, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/edmonton-oilers/news">Edmonton Oilers</a>, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/columbus-blue-jackets/news">Columbus Blue Jackets</a>, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/seattle-kraken/news">Seattle Kraken</a>, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/st-louis-blues/news">St. Louis Blues</a>, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/colorado-avalanche/news">Colorado Avalanche</a>, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/washington-capitals/news">Washington Capitals </a>and <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/detroit-red-wings/news">Detroit Red Wings</a>.&nbsp;</p>



<p>While Icethetics could not confirm any information on the Senators, the report included a look at the red Senators jerseys, <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/hockeyjerseys/comments/1jnlabb/senators_third_jersey_leak/">which leaked on Reddit in March</a>. It added that the Senators had told fans in June 2024 that a new red third jersey had been “in development and earmarked for the 2025-26 season.”</p>



<p>Although new jerseys and looks bring undoubted excitement, the NHL’s jersey manufacturing could face a difficult future. The ongoing tariff war between the United States and Canada could threaten the NHL’s production partner since 1975, SP Apparel Inc., which is based in Saint-Hyacinthe, Que.</p><div class="injected-ad" data-nn-ad-tech-injection-count="1" data-nn-ad-tech-max-gap="130" data-nn-ad-tech-current-gap="162"></div>



<p><a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/canada-hockey-jerseys-tariffs-1.7496685">CBC reported on the company’s potential issues</a>, with CEO Steve Berard saying: “We are vulnerable because the price is kind of like an elastic… How long can you stretch that elastic before [it snaps] and crashes into your face?”</p>



<p>The 2025-26 NHL regular season is set to begin on Oct. 7, 2025.</p>
