<p>The <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/boston-bruins/line-combinations">Boston Bruins</a> announced Monday that forwards Viktor Arvidsson and Casey Mittelstadt have been placed on injured reserve, while defenseman Jordan Harris has been placed on long-term injured reserve. </p>

<p>In a corresponding move, Boston has recalled forwards Matej Blumel and Riley Tufte from their AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins. </p>



<p>Arvidsson, 32, has six goals and four assists for 10 points through 20 games this season. Through 633 NHL regular-season games, Arvisson has scored 200 goals and recorded 199 assists for 399 points with the Bruins, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/edmonton-oilers/line-combinations">Edmonton Oilers</a>, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/los-angeles-kings/line-combinations">Los Angeles Kings</a> and <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/nashville-predators/line-combinations">Nashville Predators</a>. </p>



<p>As for Mittelstadt, the 26-year-old has four goals and five assists for nine points in 15 games. Taken No. 8 overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, he’s posted 85 goals and 160 assists for 245 points in 453 career regular-season games with Boston, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/colorado-avalanche/line-combinations">Colorado Avalanche</a> and <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/buffalo-sabres/line-combinations">Buffalo Sabres</a>. </p><div class="injected-ad injected-video" data-nn-ad-tech-injection-count="0" data-nn-ad-tech-max-gap="130" data-nn-ad-tech-current-gap="160"></div>



<p>Meanwhile, Harris has a goal and assist for two points in five games with Boston in 2025-26. He’s recorded 10 goals and 29 assists for 39 points in 169 career regular-season games with the Bruins, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/columbus-blue-jackets/line-combinations">Columbus Blue Jackets</a> and <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/montreal-canadiens/line-combinations">Montreal Canadiens</a>. </p>



<p><a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/standings/2025/league">The Bruins are 12-8-0</a> with 24 points, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/standings/2025/division">leading the Atlantic Division</a> after 20 games. David Pastrnak has 26 points through 11 goals and 15 assists, which leads the club in both assists and points. Last week, the forward scored his <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/boston-bruins-david-pastrnak-scores-400th-career-nhl-goal-toronto-maple-leafs">400th career NHL regular-season goal</a> against the <a href="https://theleafsnation.com/">Toronto Maple Leafs</a>. He became the sixth Bruin in franchise history to reach the 400-goal mark. </p>



<p>Morgan Geekie leads the Bruins with 12 goals, while Charlie McAvoy has the most points among defenders with 14 points (14 assists). </p>



<p>Boston’s next game is Monday night at home against the <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/carolina-hurricanes/line-combinations">Carolina Hurricanes</a>.
