RISERS

Vladimir Tarasenko, RW, New York Rangers (OWNED: 90%)

Yeah, that Panarin-Zibanejad-Tarasenko trio on Broadway is going to be a big-time problem for the rest of the NHL. Furthermore, look for the Russian sniper, who’s in a contract year, to take off now that he’s with the Rangers. If you can, look to acquire Tarasenko as soon as possible. Watch out.

Bowen Byram, D, Colorado Avalanche (OWNED: 55%)

In three outings since returning from injury, the 21-year-old’s tallied two helpers. Furthermore, he’s up to seven points in 13 games so far this season. Additionally, with Cale Makar out due to injury, Byram should get plenty of opportunity to move up the lineup. Take a flier.

Blake Wheeler, RW, Winnipeg Jets (OWNED: 48%)

Over the past seven games, the veteran winger has three goals and 10 points skating predominantly on a line with Mark Scheifele and Nikolaj Ehlers. For what it’s worth, Wheeler should be viewed as a must-own file for rest of season purposes. He has 40 points in 44 contests, which is nothing to sneeze at.

Filip Chytil, C/RW, New York Rangers (OWNED: 46%)

For starters, in 16 outings so far in 2023, Chytil’s notched at least a point in 11 of them. In total, he’s tallied 11 goals and five assists averaging a point per game during that time frame. Ride the hot hand. This guy’s poppin’ off.

Adin Hill, G, Vegas Golden Knights (OWNED: 42%)

With Logan Thompson out indefinitely with a lower body injury, it’s Adin Hill’s crease in Vegas for the foreseeable future. The 26-year-old kicked things off on Sunday afternoon by making 23 stops in a 7-2 beatdown of the Anaheim Ducks. If you need a goalie, grab Hill immediately. Lots of winnable games ahead for the Golden Knights.

Ondrej Palat, LW, New Jersey Devils (OWNED: 28%)

It took a while, but finally, Palat is starting to cook offensively for the Devils. Over his past 10 outings, the two-time Stanley Cup champion has tallied three goals, seven assists and 10 points. Indisputably, Palat’s in line for a monster finish, even with Jack Hughes on the shelf for the next few weeks.

FALLERS

Travis Konecny, C/RW, Philadelphia Flyers (OWNED: 82%)

After an incredible first half, the dual-eligible forward has fallen on rough times. If you’re keeping score at home, Konecny’s now been held pointless in eight straight contests and nine of 10. Give it a few more games before contemplating a drop here.

Taylor Hall, LW, Boston Bruins (OWNED: 50%)

With Jake DeBrusk on the mend, now’s a good time to execute a buy low on Hall. The 31-year-old has just three points (two goals, one assists) in the past 10 games. Once DeBrusk’s good to go, the Bruins should go back to a top-six of Marchand-Bergeron-DeBrusk and Hall-Krejci-Pastrnak.

Matty Beniers, C, Seattle Kraken (OWNED: 44%)

Holy smokes, Beniers is colder than a Canadian winter right now. The Calder frontrunner, who’s been banged up lately, is currently riding a nasty nine-game pointless drought. Because of the depth in fantasy hockey at the centre ice position, you’re probably good to cut bait here and not wait around.

Seth Jarvis, LW/RW, Carolina Hurricanes (OWNED: 24%)

No need to stick around on Jarvis, who’s been up and down in his sophomore season after a tremendous rookie campaign. Despite his continued top-six deployment, he’s notched just two points (one goal, one assist) in his past 10 outings. Don’t wait around.
