The 32-year-old spent the last two seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, and in 2023-24, he recorded nine assists in 52 regular-season games.

Through nine NHL seasons, the 2010 first-round pick has four goals, 26 assists and 30 points and 234 penalty minutes in 205 regular-season games with the Blackhawks, New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Nashville Predators, Arizona Coyotes and Montreal Canadiens.

Tinordi has also played a good chunk of his professional career in the AHL. Through nine AHL seasons, the 6-foot-6 defender has 21 goals and 75 assists for 96 points and 567 penalty minutes in 429 regular-season games.

In junior, Tinordi spent two seasons with the OHL’s London Knights, where he helped the club win an OHL championship in 2011-12. In 111 regular-season OHL games, Tinordi had three goals and 27 assists for 30 points and 203 penalty minutes.

Before joining the Knights, Tinordi spent three seasons with the U.S. National Team Development Program, where he carved out a reputation as a reliable stay-at-home defender. His best season production-wise was in 2008-09, scoring two goals and 13 assists for 15 points in 42 games.

Internationally, Tinordi has represented the U.S. three times — winning bronze at the 2009 Under-17 tournament, gold at the 2010 U-18 tournament, and a seventh-place finish at the 2012 World Junior Championships.
