<p>It looks like John Klingberg’s time in Dallas is over. </p>







<p>According to Frank Seravalli, Klingberg is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 13 and he’ll be hitting the open market…</p>

<p>Klingberg was selected by the Stars in the fifth round of the 2010 NHL Draft. He made his NHL debut in 2014-15 and scored 40 points over the course of 65 games. Immediately after that season, Klingberg inked a seven-year contract worth $29,750,000. </p>



<p>Over the course of eight seasons with the Stars, Klingberg appeared in 552 games and scored 71 goals and 374 points. <p>Klingberg, who turns 30 years old in August, will be one of the top options on the open market for teams looking for a puck-moving defenseman. He was ranked No. 4 on <a href="https://publish.dailyfaceoff.com/johnny-gaudreau-headlines-top-50-ufas-list-loaded-with-firepower/">Daily Faceoff’s Top 50 Free Agents list</a> and was the top option among defensemen. </p>
