<p>The St. Louis Blues will be without Jordan Binnington for at least the rest of the second round. </p>







<p>Blues head coach Craig Berube said on Sunday that Binnington is dealing with a lower-body injury and won’t return to the team’s series against the Colorado Avalanche. Berube said that it’s a possibility that Binnington could return later in the playoffs if the Blues advance. </p>

<p>Binnington left Game 3 on Saturday after Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri collided with him just a few minutes into the first period. Ville Husso came into the game in relief and allowed four goals on 23 shots. The Avalanche won by a score of 5-2 and now lead the series 2-1. </p><div class="injected-ad injected-video" data-nn-ad-tech-injection-count="0" data-nn-ad-tech-max-gap="130" data-nn-ad-tech-current-gap="132"></div>



<p>This is a big loss for St. Louis as Binnington had been a rock for them through the playoffs thus far. He posted a .943 save percentage in three wins over the Minnesota Wild in the first round and a .955 save percentage in three games against the Avs in the second round. </p>



<p>Husso will now be thrust back into the starting role for the Blues. He had a breakout season this year, putting up a .919 save percentage in 40 games during the regular season, but Husso only has four games of playoff experience in the NHL. </p>



<p>He posted a shutout against the Wild in Game 1 of the first round this year but lost the net after allowing nine goals between Games 2 and 3.
