<p>The New York Sirens announced Tuesday that Valerie Bois has been named the team’s newest assistant coach ahead of the 2025-26 PWHL season. </p>

<p>Bois most recently coached Canada’s Bishop’s University, spending four seasons with the program (two as head coach, two as an associate). She helped lead the team to their first U SPORTS National Championship in 2024-25.  </p>

<p>Sirens General Manager Pascal Daoust said Bois is a “natural fit” with the Sirens. </p>



<p>“Valerie is truly what you’d call a year-round, career coach,” said Sirens General Manager Pascal Daoust. “She has successfully held both head coach and assistant coach roles – winning multiple championships – across different levels, with both men’s and women’s teams, sometimes even within the same season. </p>



<p>“She is passionate, knowledgeable, and deeply committed to helping every athlete she works with reach their full potential and will be a natural fit within the culture and values of the New York Sirens family,” Daoust continued. </p>



<p>The Sirens finished the 2024-25 season with an 8-4-5-13 record and 37 points, finishing last in the PWHL standings and missing the playoffs for the second consecutive season. </p>
