The NHL has announced the preseason schedule for the 2025-26 season.

This year’s preseason will take place over the course of 15 days, with 104 games being featured on the slate across 40 NHL and neutral-site venues.

Included in this season’s preseason schedule will be nine games played in neutral sites in Abbotsford, British Columbia; Bakersfield, California; Boise, Idaho; Hershey, Pennsylvania; Ontario, California; Orlando, Florida; and Quebec City, Quebec. Also included among the neutral sites will be a game held between the Colorado Avalanche and Utah Mammoth at Magness Arena in Denver, Colorado, which is home to the University of Denver hockey teams.

This will also be the last time teams are able to play six to eight preseason games, as the new collective bargaining agreement will only allow for a maximum of four games for a team starting next year.
