Dylan Guenther Over 2.5 Shots On Goal (-143) at Sports Interaction

Although the Utah Hockey Club fell short of reaching the playoffs in their inaugural season, there were plenty of positives to build on from 2024–25. Captain Clayton Keller had a strong year, finishing with 27 goals and 85 points. Sophomore Logan Cooley continued to build on his impressive rookie campaign, and goaltender Karel Vejmelka ranked in the top 10 in goals saved above expected among netminders who faced at least 1,500 unblocked shot attempts.

Arguably the most encouraging development, however, was the emergence of Dylan Guenther as a true top-line forward. Despite being limited to 68 games due to injury, Guenther still tied Keller for the team lead in goals and has quickly become Utah’s go-to shooter. His 2.96 shots per game led the team, and only Alex Ovechkin and Filip Forsberg recorded more shot attempts per 60 minutes this season.

The 22-year-old registered three or more shots in 39 of his 68 games and has been especially aggressive down the stretch. Over his last 19 games, he’s hit the three-shot mark 14 times—including a recent three-game stretch where he fired 14 shots, highlighted by a six-shot effort against the Predators.

Jake DeBrusk Over 2.5 Shots On Goal (+135) at Sports Interaction

Vancouver missed the playoffs just one year after winning the Pacific Division, meaning things didn’t go as planned. While changes are likely coming in the offseason, forward Jake DeBrusk has established himself as a key piece for the future. The 28-year-old set a new career high in points with 47 in 80 games this season and is just one goal shy of a new career best.

DeBrusk has scored 27 goals so far this season—his first with the Canucks—marking the fourth time in his career he’s reached 25 or more in a single campaign. He leads all Vancouver forwards with 168 shots on goal and has paced the team in that category since Nov. 1. Even though the Canucks have nothing left to play for, DeBrusk does, and Monday’s matchup against San Jose presents a good opportunity for him to go after it.

The Sharks rank 31st in shots and shot attempts against per 60 minutes this season, and no team has allowed more expected goals against. Additionally, the Sharks have allowed 34.1 shots on goal per game over their last 10 outings. With DeBrusk riding a three-game scoring streak, there’s plenty of incentive to back him to register three or more shots on goal at +135 odds.
