We’re a little over 24 hours away from the puck dropping on the 2025-26 PWHL campaign, and there’s a ton of excitement and anticipation heading into the league’s third season.



On Thursday, the eight franchises released their finalized rosters for opening day. This year, unlike the first two seasons, teams are required to <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/pwhl-removes-coachs-challenge-2025-26-season-three-goaltenders">have three goaltenders under contract</a>, with only 20 skaters allowed to have Standard Player Agreements. 



That has forced teams to make tough choices in the one-week training camp, as players who had previously signed contracts were released from their deals in the days leading up to camp.
