<p>The <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/seattle-kraken/line-combinations">Seattle Kraken</a> acquired forward Mason Marchment from the <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/dallas-stars/line-combinations">Dallas Stars </a>on Thursday in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick and a 2025 fourth-round pick. </p>

<p>The 30-year-old Marchment scored 22 goals and 25 assists for 47 points in 62 regular-season games in 2024-25. Through the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Marchment had a goal and four assists for five points in 18 games. </p>



<p>In three seasons with the Stars, Marchment had 56 goals and 75 assists for 131 points in 211 regular-season games, along with eight goals and eight assists for 16 points in 49 playoff games. </p><div class="injected-ad injected-video" data-nn-ad-tech-injection-count="0" data-nn-ad-tech-max-gap="130" data-nn-ad-tech-current-gap="136"></div>

<p>Marchment, a native of Uxbridge, Ont., has played in 302 career regular-season games with the Stars, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/florida-panthers/line-combinations">Florida Panthers</a> and <a href="https://theleafsnation.com/">Toronto Maple Leafs</a>. In six NHL seasons, he’s scored 76 goals and 113 assists for 189 points. He’s also scored 11 goals and eight assists for 19 points in 59 playoff games. </p>



<p>Marchment also spent five seasons in the AHL, scoring 38 goals and 34 assists for 72 points in 130 regular-season games with the Toronto Marlies and Springfield Thunderbirds. </p>



<p>The Stars finished the season with a 50-26-6 record and 106 points, second in the Central Division. <p>As for the Kraken, they finished 35-41-6 with 76 points, seventh in the Pacific Division. They missed the playoffs for a second straight season. </p>
