<p>The <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/teams/utah-mammoth/line-combinations">Utah Mammoth</a> have signed forward Michael Carcone to a one-year contract, according to <em>Sportsnet</em> hockey insider Elliotte Friedman. </p>

<p>Terms of the reported contract have not been released. Carcone is coming off a two-year deal that paid him $775,000 per season. </p>



<p>In 2024-25, Carcone scored seven goals and 12 assists for 19 points and 36 penalty minutes, averaging 11:26 of ice time in 53 regular-season games. </p>



<p>The 29-year-old left winger has spent his entire NHL career with the Utah/Arizona Coyotes franchise, scoring 34 goals and 23 assists for 57 points and 87 penalty minutes in 157 career regular-season games. His best statistical season came in 2023-24 with the Coyotes, scoring 21 goals and eight assists for 29 points in 74 games. </p><div class="injected-ad injected-video" data-nn-ad-tech-injection-count="0" data-nn-ad-tech-max-gap="130" data-nn-ad-tech-current-gap="141"></div>



<p>Carcone has also played in parts of seven AHL seasons, scoring 123 goals and 144 assists for 267 points in 398 career regular-season games with the Tucson Roadrunners, Belleville Senators, Toronto Marlins and Utica Comets. In 21 Calder Cup Playoff games, he’s scored nine goals and nine assists for 18 points.</p>



<p>In 2021-22, Carcone recorded 24 goals and 17 assists for 41 points and 62 penalty minutes in 48 regular-season games with the Roadrunners. </p>



<p>An undrafted forward, Carcone spent two seasons in the QMJHL with the Drummondville Voltigeurs, scoring 59 goals and recording 71 assists for 130 points in 116 regular-season games. In 2015-16, he recorded 47 goals and 42 assists for 89 points and 80 penalty minutes in 66 regular-season games. </p>



<p>Utah finished the 2024-25 season with a 38-31-13 record and 89 points, finishing sixth in the Central Division and falling seven points shy of the No. 2 Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. </p><div class="injected-ad" data-nn-ad-tech-injection-count="1" data-nn-ad-tech-max-gap="130" data-nn-ad-tech-current-gap="159"></div>



<p>Forward Clayton Keller, <a href="https://www.dailyfaceoff.com/news/clayton-keller-named-first-ever-captain-of-utah-hockey-club">who was named Utah’s first-ever captain </a>ahead of the 2024-25 campaign, led the team in all offensive categories, scoring 30 goals and recording 60 assists for 90 points in 81 games. </p>
