Tuch crashed into the post on Sunday and did not return to the game. Head coach Don Granato said that the testing at the arena was "as positive as it can be." He was sent for further imaging and is questionable to play Monday against the Panthers.
The Sabres placed three more players in COVID-19 protocol, bringing their total to five players ahead of their game Thursday vs. the Sharks. With Tuch out, the Sabres are expected to reunite Jeff Skinner, Tage Thompson and Victor Olofsson.
