Vasilevskiy has been great lately, going 3-2-1 despite posting a 1.97 GAA, .940 SV% and two shutouts in his last six starts. He has not faced the Blues this season but comes in at 12-4-1 with a 2.46 GAA, .927 SV% and one shutout on home-ice.

Vasilevskiy stopped all 36 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout win over the Islanders last Friday. Vasilevskiy ended a bit of an ugly stretch for him with the shutout and tonight he faces the Golden Knights for the second time this season. The 24-year-old allowed two goals on 31 shots in a 3-2 lead in Vegas in the first meeting (Oct.26).

Vasilevskiy allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Lightning’s loss in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Vasilevskiy hasn’t been great recently, losing three of his last four starts while allowing a combined 14 goals on 153 shots (.909 SV%). Vasilevskiy has allowed at least three goals in four of those five games and comes into Friday 1-1-0 with a 3.13. GAA and .906 SV% vs. the Islanders this season.

Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 39 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Sharks on January 19th. The All-Star netminder will get right back between the pipes after the break and draws a tough assignment right away. Vasilevskiy has not faced the Penguins this season but is 8-2-2 with a 2.49 GAA, .923 SV% and two shutouts on the road.

Vasilevskiy stopped all 35 shots that he faced in the Lightning’s shutout win in Dallas on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy has two shutouts in his last four starts, going 3-1-0 while allowing just five goals on 120 shots (.958 SV%) over that stretch. In his first start vs. the Maple Leafs, Vasilevskiy stopped 48 of 49 shots in a 4-1 win (Dec.13).

Vasilevskiy allowed four goals on 27 shots in the Lightning’s loss to the Islanders on Sunday. It was a rare an surprising loss for Vasilevskiy, who is 9-2-1 with a 2.84 GAA, .917 SV% and one shutout since returning from a foot injury in mid-December. Tonight he starts in Dallas and comes in at 7-2-2 with a 2.71 GAA and .916 SV% on the road.

Since returning from a fractured foot, Vasilevskiy has gone 8-1-1 with a 2.88 GAA, .919 SV% and one shutout. Vasilevskiy’s splits haven’t been great but he continues to rack up the wins—he is now tied for sixth in the NHL in wins (17) despite missing 15 games. He is a must-start against a Hurricanes team that he tied for 27th in the NHL in scoring (2.64 GF/pg).

Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Lightning’s win in Vegas on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy was given Thursday night off but will be back in net tonight in Edmonton. Since returning from injury, Vasilevskiy has stopped 121 of 129 shots (.938 SV%), picking up right where he left off. Vasilevskiy is a must-start whenever he gets the nod.

It was another busy night for Vasilevskiy, who wasn’t able to stand on his head like he did vs. the Maple Leafs last Thursday. Vasilevskiy comes into Tuesday’s game at 3-0-2 with a 2.53 GAA, .921 SV% and one shutout on the road this season.
