Beauvillier was forced to miss the Islanders' previous contest on Saturday due to a shoulder injury and is a game-time decision Tuesday. The 25-year-old has five goals, 11 points, and 58 SOG through 27 games prior to his shoulder injury.

Beauvillier was scratched Thursday vs. the Rangers and head coach Barry Trotz said he's unsure of his status for Saturday. Since it's an afternoon game, there's no morning skate, so consider him a game-time decision.

Both Beauvillier and Oliver Wahlstrom were activated and head coach Barry Trotz said it's possible that both will play on Saturday but "one more likely that the other." Monitor Beauvillier's status as the Islanders hit the ice for warmups at 1:30 PM ET.

On the day that the Islanders activated players like Mathew Barzal, they also added four forwards to the protocol list, including Beauvillier. This group is expected to be out until next Wednesday.

With Brock Nelson and Casey Cizikas returning to the lineup, someone has to sit. Head coach Barry Trotz said Beauviller will serve as the healthy scratch and added that "others can take it as a message." Beauvillier has zero points in his last 13 games.

Beauvillier has been out since January 24th but will play Tuesday in Buffalo. Beauvillier will most likely replace Leo Komarov in the lineup and Michael Dal Colle on Brock Nelson's wing in his return. Beauvillier picked up one assist and four shots on goal in five games before getting injured.

Barry Trotz was speaking in riddles this morning, telling reporters that "we're all healthy" and that Beauvillier is "close to able to play" but would not specifically say if he's in on Monday. Consider Beauvillier a game-time decision and monitor his status when they hit the ice for warmups.

Beauvillier was originally listed as a game-time decision for Saturday's game but was ruled out after the morning skate. That means either Leo Komarov will remain in the lineup or he'll be sent down after clearing waivers and someone like Kieffer Bellows will be recalled.

Beauvillier was on the ice for Friday's practice and Leo Komarov was placed on waivers, seemingly paving the way for Beauvillier to be activated from IR and play Saturday. The Islanders have gone 2-2-3 in the seven games without Beauvillier.

Beauvillier has not played since January 24th but was spotted back on the ice early this week, however, he will remain sidelined for Saturday's game vs. the Penguins. The Islanders have gone 0-2-2 without Beauviller.

Beauvillier was banged up mid-way through Sunday's loss in New Jersey and may not be available for Tuesday's game in Washington. Monitor Beauvillier's status during Tuesday's gameday skate and look for Kiefer Bellows to replace him in the lineup if he can't go.
