Bennett (concussion) will return to the Penguins lineup on Wednesday.

Bennett has missed the last five games with what is believed to be a concussion, but he will be back in the lineup tonight in Washington. Bennett was one of the Penguins most impressive players in the first three games, before he got hurt. He is expected to start on the fourth line, but head coach Mike Johnston said that Bennett will move up and down the lineup.

Bennett has missed the last five games with a concussion, but he was back at practice this morning and he is hoping to be cleared for Wednesday’s game in Washington. Bennett skated on the Penguins fourth line with Matt Cullen and Sergei Plotnikov.

The oft-injured Bennett is out again. Bennett has been one of the Penguins’ most effective players to start the season, but his durability issues will keep him out of the lineup tonight. With Bennett out, look for Bobby Farnham to make his season debut.

Bennett, who has three assists in three games since returning to the Penguins lineup, was moved up to the second line on Tuesday. He skated with Evgeni Malkin and Nick Spaling today and should start the game there on Wednesday.

Bennett has been on the ice taking line rushes for the past two days, so it looks like a near certainty that he will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Hurricanes. He has been sidelined since November 24th.

Bennett was on the ice for a third consecutive day this morning, but he is not ready to return to the lineup tonight. Bennett has been out since November 24th and it remains to be seen when he will be back. However, all signs are pointing towards him being back soon.

Bennett will miss his fourth consecutive game with a lower-body injury that he suffered on November 24th. The Penguins have yet to release a timetable for Bennett’s return, but this afternoon they have moved him to IR to make roster room.

Penguins’ head coach Mike Johntson did not specify on the nature of Bennett’s injury, but it is believed to be his right knee. Bennett has had an extremely difficult time staying healthy in his young career. Expect Zach Sill to get back in the lineup tonight vs. the Leafs.

Bennett suffered an apparent knee injury on Monday night, but was able to return to the game. Bennett missed the start of the season with a knee injury, so this would be yet another tough break for the young forward. He will be evaluated over the course of the next day and a more detailed injury report should be released on Wednesday. He is considered questionable for tomorrow’s game vs. the Leafs.

The Penguins have recalled Beau Bennett from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Bennett, 22, had five assists in two games in his brief conditioning stint with WBS. The oft-injured Bennett has worked his way back from a knee injury suffered in training camp. Now that he is back, the goal will be to stay healthy for an extended period of time. There is a good chance he ends up on the second line with Evgeni Malkin and Pascal Dupuis, which would make him a nice pickup in standard leagues.

Bennett was cleared for contact on Monday, so he will head to WBS to practice and get a couple of games in on the weekend. Bennett has not played yet this season after suffering a knee injury in training camp. He could find himself in the Penguins top-6 upon his return to the lineup.
