Hagel has been removed from the COVID-19 reserve list.


Hagel has had a terrific season-to-date but will likely miss at least a couple of games after being added to the COVID-19 protocol list on Friday. Phillip Kurashev was elevated to the Blackhawks second line with Hagel unavailable for Friday's practice.

Hagel was originally a sixth-round pick of the Sabres in 2016 but signed with Chicago in 2018. The 21-year-old will replace Drake Caggiula (hand) on the third line and comes up with 19 goals and 12 assists (31 points) in 59 AHL games this season.
