Tonight he will face the Islanders for the second time in less than a week—he stopped 29 of 30 shots in a 4-1 win on Long Island last Sunday.

Elliott was placed on IR retroactive to November 15th and is expected to miss a few more weeks with a lower-body injury. With Elliott and Michal Neuvirth both out, the Flyers are left with Anthony Stolarz and Calvin Pickard in net.

Elliott was forced to leave Thursday’s game vs. the Devils and will miss at least two weeks with a lower-body injury. With Michal Neuvirth already on IR, the Flyers will roll with Calvin Pickard and Alex Lyon as their goaltending duo for the time being.

Elliott was forced to miss Monday’s game after suffering a head injury in Sunday’s practice, but was back on the ice for Wednesday’s session. Alex Lyon was returned to Lehigh Valley (AHL), suggesting that Elliott will at least be able to back Calvin Pickard up on Thursday.

Elliott was injured in a collision with Travis Konecny in Sunday’s practice and won’t play Monday in Arizona. The Flyers announced that he will be re-evaluated when the team returns to Philadelphia.
