We are recalling Cam Atkinson. He is flying to Philadelphia this morning and should arrive in time for the morning skate.

Atkinson scored four goals and six points over 10 games with the Springfield Falcons. He figures to play a scoring role once he returns.

Rookie winger Cam Atkinson, who made the club with a tremendous training camp, has also secured a top-6 spot.

Great news for Atkinson, who should have some decent fantasy hockey value. Last season, the 6th round pick dominated Hockey East, scoring 31 goals in 39 games for Boston College. Look for the rookie to pot a few goals with his talented linemates.
