Talbot made 33 saves on 36 shots in the Oilers’ win over the Flyers on Thursday. Talbot has won three of his last four while posting a 2.40 GAA, .913 SV% and one shutout. Tonight he faces the Blackhawks for the third time this season—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.40 GAA and .922 SV% in the firs two meetings between these two squads.

Talbot allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Oilers’ win over the Coyotes on Tuesday. Talbot has lost four of his last six starts while posting a 2.68 GAA, .897 SV% and one shutout. Talbot has gone 14-10-2 with a 2.52 GAA and .914 SV% in 26 starts on home ice this season and will face a Flyers team that is struggling to score.

It was not the best way to come out of the bye week, but Talbot will look to rebound tonight versus a Coyotes team who played last night. Talbot stopped all 22 shots that he faced in the Oilers’ shutout win in Montreal last Sunday. The win snapped a three-game winning streak for Talbot, who will be the first goalie to make 50 starts this season. Talbot turned aside all 31 shots that he faced in a 5-0 shutout win in his first start vs. Chicago.


Talbot allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Oilers’ loss in Nashville last night. It was a better outing than his game vs. the Wild on Tuesday, but he still ended up with the “L.” Tonight he will face the Hurricanes for the second time this season—he stopped 31 of 33 shots in a 3-2 win in the first meeting.


Talbot allowed one goal on 33 shots in the Oilers’ win in San Jose last Thursday. Talbot has been on-fire recently, winning six of his last seven starts while posting a 1.37 GAA, .950 SV% and one shutout. The 29-year-old will take on the Wild, who are currently the top team in the Western Conference and come in winners of four of their last five.

The 29-year-old has gone 1–1-0 with a 2.92 GAA and .900 SV% in two starts against the Ducks this season.

Talbot allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Oilers’ win over the Panthers on Wednesday. Talbot has won four in a row and six of his last seven starts while posting a 2.22 GAA and .912 SV%. Tonight he will take on a Predators team that has won four of their last five while averaging just 2.20 goals per game.
