Cizikas (upper-body) returns to the Islanders lineup on Monday.

Cizikas has missed the last three games with an upper-body injury that he suffered on December 6th vs. the Blues. He will be back in for Michael Grabner, who is day-to-day with a lower-body ailment. Cizikas will centre the fourth line with Matt Martin and Cal Clutterbuck.

The Islanders signed Casey Cizikas to a two-year, $2 million deal on Tuesday.

Cizikas, 23, plays a strong two-way game. He had six goals and 10 assists (16 points) in 80 games with the Isles last season. He averaged 13:22 TOI per game, and 2:25 of that was spent on the penalty kill. That led all Islanders forwards and ranked fourth on the team.

Cizikas left Thursday's game in the first period and did not return. He took a high hit that obviously caught him in the jaw. No word on the severity of Cizikas' injury, for now consider him day-to-day. This injury guarantees that Ryan Strome will make his NHL debut tonight. Cizikas
