Connor Ingram will start in goal for the Coyotes Tuesday

Ingram struggled in his only start of the season, allowing five goals on 29 shots (.828 SV%) in a 6-2 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. He takes on a Blue Jackets team Tuesday that is coming off a big 5-1 victory over the New York Rangers on Sunday and will be welcoming the return of superstar winger Patrick Laine.

Connor Ingram will make his Arizona debut Thursday as the Coyotes head to Montreal to take on the Canadiens. Ingram was claimed off waivers from Nashville prior to the regular season after finishing 2021-22 with an .879 SV% across only three starts.He will hope the Coyotes can produce more pucks on the net as their 23.7 SOG/GP currently ranks them 30th in the NHL. The Canadiens will be looking for their third win of the season after topping Pittsburgh 3-2 on Monday night.

The Coyotes have claimed Connor Ingram off of waivers from the Predators.

Ingram was terrific in the AHL a season ago, going 30-17-7 with a 2.70 GAA and .915 SV% in 54 games with Milwaukee (AHL). With the Coyotes, Ingram should have no problem taking over as the No.2 behind Karel Vejmelka and should see a decent workload this season.

The Predators have signed Connor Ingram to a three-year contract extension worth $2.2 million ($733K AAV).

Ingram was originally picked in the third-round in 2016 by the Lightning but was traded to the predators for a 2021 seventh-round pick last summer. The 22-year-old went 21-5-5 with a 1.92 GAA and .933 SV% in 33 AHL games this season and figures to be the future No.2 netminder behind Juuse Saros.

Ingram, who was selected in the third-round (No.88 overall) in 2016, split his 2018-19 season between the AHL and ECHL. The 22-year-old was 14-7-0 with a 2.26 GAA and .922 SV% with Syracuse (AHL) and 8-2-0 with a 2.81 GAA and .914 SV% with Orlando (ECHL). With Pekka Rinne entering his age-37 season, Ingram could serve as the Predators’ future No.2 behind Juuse Saros.
