Anderson is expected to leave the team from time to time to be with his wife. Andrew Hammond was recalled on Tuesday and is expected to serve as Mike Condon’s backup on Thursday. There’s no word on when Anderson will return to the team.

Tonight he will take on a Flyers team that has lost three of their last four and sit at .500 on the season.

He briefly left the team because his wife was diagnosed with cancer, but re-joined the team on Saturday and will be in goal tonight in Edmonton. Anderson has won four of his five starts with a 2.95 GAA and .903 SV%.
