"It will be announced later this morning that Craig Anderson is starting in goal against the Wild" - Hmm, that sounds like it is being announced now - We'll go with Likely until it is officially announced.

Anderson gave up four goals on 22 shots in a Sunday's loss to the Blue Jackets. He is 1-2-0 with a 3.48 GAA and .884 SV% in November. The Senators are very inconsistent, so it is hard to tell which team is going to show up tonight vs. Minnesota.

Anderson to start on Sunday.

Anderson surrendered two goals on 32 shots in a win over the Bruins on Friday. It was his first win since October 23 vs. Detroit. After leading the NHL in GAA (1.69) and SV% (.941) last season, Anderson has been a bit of a disappointment to start the 2013-14 season. He is 5-5-2 with a 3.20 GAA and .908 SV% so far, but has a strong matchup tomorrow vs. Columbus.

Craig Anderson
Anderson (neck) is healthy and will start Tuesday vs. Philadelphia.

Anderson missed the last three games with a neck injury, but will be back in the cage on Tuesday after allowed three goals on 36 shots in a loss to Dallas in his last start (Nov 3). He has not won since October 23, but a matchup with the putrid Flyers offence should get him back on track.

Senators head coach Paul MacLean says all tests came back negative and Anderson is day to day with a stiff neck.

When Anderson returns to the net according to MacLean depends "on his level of comfort". He will not make the trip to Columbus tomorrow and Robin Lehner will get the start. Nathan Lawson is expected to get recalled to back-up Lehner.

Anderson was taken off the ice on a stretcher after a collision with Valeri Nichushkin.

Anderson waved to the crowd as he exited the ice, which is a good sign but it was a scary looking incident. He had allowed three goals on 36 shots before departing in overtime. Robin Lehner will take over as the Senators goalie should Anderson miss an extended period of time.

Anderson is the first off the ice.

Anderson was beat up for five goals on 29 shots in a loss to the Sharks on Sunday. A matchup with San Jose has been rough for all goalies this season, so we will give Anderson a pass on this one. That being said, facing the Blackhawks on the road.. Is not any better of a matchup.

Craig Anderson
Senators going back with Anderson in goal against Sharks Sunday.

Anderson had his three game winning streak snapped on Friday. He stopped 26 of 28 shots in the loss to the Ducks. He was outplayed by another Andersen, who made his first NHL start. He has a tough matchup vs. the Sharks on Sunday, but either you need stats or you don't on Sunday - your call to start him.

Craig Anderson
Anderson off the ice first; He starts for the Sabres.

Anderson allowed two goals on 42 shots in a win over the Devils last Thursday. He has had six days off since his last start, so he should be fresh tonight vs. a good Red Wings squad. Ottawa has allowed a ton of shots this season and Anderson has done all he can posting a .924 SV% through six starts.
