Craig Anderson News
Craig Anderson confirms he's back and starting tonight vs FLA. Missed 19 games with a right ankle injury.

Anderson has not stated a game since February 21st. He will be back in the cage tonight when the Sens face the Panthers. Anderson is 8-4-2 and still leads the NHL in goals-against average (1.49 GAA) and save percentage (.952 SV%) this year. The matchup vs. Florida is a good one, so he should be able to record a win in his first game back.

Craig Anderson is healthy & ready to play now according to GM Bryan Murray.

With the trade of Ben Bishop, Anderson should step right back into the #1 job. Robin Lehner has played well this season so he will continue to get the occasional start as well. Anderson could be a worthwhile pick-up if he is available in your league.

Craig Anderson
Craig Anderson will go on road trip with the Sens. He doesn't want to set a timeline for his return, but sounds like this week is possible.

The Sens play tomorrow, Friday and Sunday so monitor his status prior to those games to see if he will get any starts this week. He could be a good pick heading into the playoffs.

Craig Anderson
Craig Anderson says he won't play tomorrow vs NYR. But Saturday against the Leafs isn't out of the question.

Anderson who has been out since mid-February with a sprained ankle, could return this weekend. Ben Bishop and Robin Lehner played very well in Anderson's absence so he likely won't have the same workload he had before getting hurt. If he is available in your league he could be worth a pick-up. He was an early front-runner for the Vezina before getting hurt.

Craig Anderson
The Senators goalie didn't make the trip here, but he was on the ice Friday for the first time in over a week.

Anderson will continue skating throughout the weekend to test the ankle he injured Feb. 21. There is no timetable for Anderson's return from the high ankle sprain, but it's a promising sign that he was able to skate.

Craig Anderson
Anderson suffered a sprained right ankle and is listed as day to day.

The Senators lost Anderson at 1:43 of the third period after Rangers forward Chris Kreider was tripped in front and slid into the unsuspecting netminder. He is considered day-to-day at this point, monitor his status over the next few days for a more accurate report on how long he will be out.

Anderson will start tonight for Ottawa.

Anderson won his last start stopping 37 of 38 shots that the Islanders threw at him. Anderson has regressed a little but that was expected after a tremendous start. He is still one of fantasy's top goalie options but has a tough test tonight vs. Henrik Lundqvist and the Rangers. Good news for him is that Rangers forward Rick Nash will not play.

Craig Anderson will start tonight vs. Isles. #Sens

Anderson has lost 3 of his last 4 starts bringing his recorded to 7-4-2. He has the second best GAA (1.61) in the NHL and the top SV% (.948). Anderson is having the best season of his career however the wins aren't going to come as easy as they did when Erik Karlsson was in the lineup. He has a good matchup against the Islanders today.

Anderson gets back-to-back starts for the Senators.

Anderson has been the best goalie in the NHL this season and is the front-runner for the Vezina right now. Anderson will get the start tonight vs. the Penguins after posting a 42-save shutout last night against the Sabres. Anderson is a must-start right now regardless of format or opponent.

Anderson will start tomorrow for the Senators.

Anderson has lost 3 of his last 4 starts but he is hardly to blame. In those 4 starts he allowed 9 goals while posting a .922 SV% and they were all one-goal games. He has a solid match-up as the Sens take on the Sabres who they just beat 4-3 last Tuesday. It appears at this point as long as they slow Thomas Vanek down they'll be alright, but that is easier said than done.

Craig Anderson will start on Thursday vs Carolina.

Anderson looks like he'll play almost every game this season, the only nights he may get off are during back-to-backs and even then who knows. He has been exceptional so far with a 6-2-1 record, 1.33 GAA and .956 SV%. He is a must-start in all formats.
