Danny Briere News
Veteran Flyers center Danny Briere will miss two weeks because of a wrist injury suffered in Germany, according to a report from Eishockeynews.de.

The oft-injured Briere is off the ice again this season. Since he is only scheduled to miss two weeks, if the NHL starts up again in June then he is expected to be back with the Flyers.

Briere is goal-less in last 21 games, the longest one-season drought of his career. "I think I'm retiring from scoring goals," he quipped.

Briere has battled through several injuries and struggled to get his timing back. Expect him to be his usual self in the postseason.

He’ll be in the lineup for the Flyers’ game against the New York Islanders, their first home game in almost two weeks. And he knows he’s fortunate the hit didn’t result in something more.

Look for Briere in tonight's lineup after a concussion scare. The versatile veteran has 13 goals and 34 points in 53 games.
