Devante Smith-Pelly News
Smith-Pelly (shoulder) is available for the Ducks on Thursday.

Smith-Pelly has missed the last three games with a shoulder injury that he suffered vs. the Kings last Wednesday. Head coach Bruce Boudreau would not commit to Smith-Pelly being in the lineup, but the 22-year-old forward deemed himself “good to go.”

Devante Smith-Pelly
Smith-Pelly will start on the Ducks top-line on Sunday.

Smith-Pelly has one goal and one assist in the first five games of the season. Based off of line rushes in pregame warmups it looks like he will play with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry tonight vs. St. Louis. He has played there in the past and could stick if he plays well.

Devante Smith-Pelly
The Ducks signed restricted free-agent Devante Smith-Pelly to a two-year contract.

Smith-Pelly, 22, scored two goals and eight assists (10 points) in 19 games with the Ducks last season. He spent the majority of the season in the AHL, where he led the Norfolk Admirals in goals with 27 in 55 games. He should make Ducks out of training camp and is a candidate to play with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry.

Devante Smith-Pelly
The Ducks have reassigned Devante Smith-Pelly to Norfolk (AHL).

Smith-Pelly registered one goal and seven assists in 16 games while he was with the Ducks. He had been a healthy scratch for two of the last three games, so he's assignment is not as surprising as Emerson Etem's.

The Anaheim Ducks have recalled Devante Smith-Pelly from Norfolk (AHL).

Smith-Pelly won't be in the lineup tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. He still has not played a game with the Ducks this season, however he has two goals in six games with Norfolk (AHL).

Both Patrick Maroon and Devante Smith-Pelly, recently called up from Norfolk, will be in the #NHLDucks lineup tonight.

With the Ducks benching a lot of their star players to rest them for the playoffs, Smith-Pelly will play in his sixth game this season. He has yet to record a point this season.

Bruce Boudreau confirms Devante Smith-Pelly will remain with #NHLDucks for rest of season. "We think he's developing really well."

Smith-Pelly should play a third or fourth line role with the Ducks for the rest of the season. He has three goals and six points in 29 games.

Devante Smith-Pelly
Per Boudreau: Devante Smith-Pelly, now back w/ the #NHLDucks in PIT, will not play tonight, but will play later on in the road trip.

Smith-Pelly is back from his conditioning assignment and should be an option for the Ducks moving forward. The rookie has three goals and five points through 26 games.
