Nystrom draws in on the fourth line in favor of Toby Peterson. Look for him to play a gritty, blue-collar game but don't expect him to make much of a fantasy hockey impact.

The Minnesota Wild has come to an agreement with the Dallas Stars on a trade that will send forward Eric Nystrom to Dallas in exchange for future considerations.
This move clears the Wild from demoting an NHL-ready player while the Dallas Stars climb closer to the salary cap floor. Don't expect too much from the second-generation player as he only scored 23 goals over 286 NHL games.

Eric Nystrom cleared waivers and was reassigned to Houston. He'll be in the Aeros' Sunday lineup against the Texas Stars for their opener -- barring a trade or maybe a claim on re-entry waivers if the Wild ever decides to go that route.
