Kuznetsov, who was hurt on Monday, missed Wednesday's practice and will not play on Thursday. Kuznetsov's injury isn't serious, so he'll travel on their three-game road trip and could play at some point on the trip.

Kuznetsov was forced to leave Monday's game with an upper-body injury and was not on the ice for Tuesday's practice. The Capitals announced that Kuznetsov is day-to-day and Lars Eller moved up to the second line in practice.

Kuznetsov, who was listed as a game-time decision, is on the ice for warmups and taking line rushes in his usual second-line spot. Look for him to play vs. the Sharks.

Kuznetsov missed Saturday's practice and is still battling the illness, so he's a game-time decision for Sunday's afternoon tilt with the Sharks. Kuznetsov is hot right now, having scored five goals with six assists (11 points) in his last 12 games.

Kuznetsov was nicked up in against the Maple Leafs but was on the ice for Friday's morning skate and is expected to play vs. the Sabres. Kuznetsov will centre the second line and comes in with five goals and four assists (nine points) in 11 games.

Kuznetsov was banged up in Toronto when he went face-first into the boards early in the first period. He ended up playing 18:18 TOI and finished the game but missed Thursday's practice and may not play Friday.

After serving his three-game suspension, Kuznetsov will draw into the Capitals lineup vs. Dallas. Kuznetsov will start on the third line with Carl Hagelin and Richard Panik and will return to the top power-play unit. The 27-year-old had 21 goals and 51 assists (72 points0 in 76 games last season.

Kuznetsov missed the last six games with an “upper-body” injury that was believed to be a concussion. Kuznetsov will centre the Capitals second line with Jakub Vrana and Brett Conolly on his wings. Kuznetsov picked up six goals and 15 assists (21 points) in 18 games before getting hurt on November 14th.

Kuznetsov missed Sunday’s game against the Flyers and is considered day-to-day. Kuznetsov is expected to be re-evaluated on Monday but it sounds like he has avoided serious injury and will be ready to go for the postseason.

Kuznetsov was banged up in the Capitals final game before the All-Star break but was on the ice during Tuesday’s practice and will play on Wednesday. Kuznetsov has heated up recently, picking up one goal and five assists (six points) in his last seven games.
