Allen gave up three goal on 27 shots in the Blues' 4-3 win over the Devils last Thursday. Allen has been nothing short of spectacular to start 2014-15---he is 4-1-0 with a 1.40 GAA and .944 SV%. Allen is as big of a goalie prospect as there is and deserves to be trusted at home vs. Nashville.

Allen stopped all 26 shots that he faced in the Blues 1-0 win over the Devils on Tuesday. He has stopped all 50 of the shots that he has faced in his last two starts and should make for a good start tonight as he takes on the Devils again, this time in St. Louis.

Allen stopped all 26 shots that he faced in the Blues 1-0 win over the Devils last night. He was coming off of a 24-save shutout vs. the Ducks on October 30th. He joins Ernie Wakely as the only other Blues rookie to post consecutive shutouts, Wakely did it way back in 1970. The way Allen is playing, he is going to force coach Hitchcock to give him starts. He is only owned in 41 percent of Yahoo leagues.

Brian Elliott has been great as well, but Allen is forcing the Blues to play him. Tonight, he faces a Devils team who have won three of their last four.

The Blues team defense will help both Allen and Brian Elliott's numbers all season. He draws a tough matchup vs. the Ducks, but the Blues should be able to slow them down.

Tonight he will face a Canucks team who were shelled by the Stars on Tuesday. Allen will continue to carve our a larger role if he plays well.

His demotion to the AHL means that Jaroslav Halak is back to full health and will suit up on Tuesday, whether as the start or the back-up.

He made his regular season NHL debut in 2012-13, going 9-4-0 in 15 appearances. In his NHL career, Allen has a 2.46 GAA, a .905 SV% and one shutout. WIth Jaroslav Halak sick, Allen may backup Brian Elliott tonight.

He is 5-1-0 with a 2.78 GAA and .887 SV% away from St. Louis this season. Don't hesitate to use him as a spot start.

Allen gets the call for the second game of a back-to-back. Brian Elliott played well enough yesterday to get the win vs. Chicago. This will be Allen's first start since being recalled, he has a scary matchup vs. a surprising Blue Jackets squad.

Allen, 22, has appeared in 12 games with the Blues this season, posting an 8-3-0 record with a 2.45 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage. In 35 games with the Rivermen, the 6-foot-2, 195-pound goaltender has a record of 13-19-2 with a 2.89 goals against average, .904 save percentage and two shutouts. Allen is obviously the goalie of the future for the Blues, and only holds value in deep-keeper leagues.

Allen has not started since last Tuesday when he had his five game winning streak snapped. He should be well rested when he faces the Oilers tonight. It is a good matchup for Allen, so he should make for a good start tonight.
