He will take on the red hot Los Angeles Kings on the road who have won four straight and are second in the NHL in goals (4.0) and seventh in shots per game (32.2).

After allowing five goals on 42 shots in a 6-5 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs in the Canadiens season-opener, Allen has settled into an impressive run, winning three straight games and posting a 2.63 GAA and .930 SV% on the season (3-0-1). Allen and the Canadiens are +113 road underdogs against the Arizona Coyotes, who are averaging 4.5 goals per game over their last four outings (1-2-1).

The Canadiens are off to a better-than-expected 2-1-1 start but are +156 road underdogs against a Sabres team that is averaging a lowly 2.40 goals per game this season (2-3-0).

However, in his career against the Maple Leafs, Allen sports a respectable 2.60 GAA and .917 SV% in 18 appearances (8-7-0).

Allen is 15-24-3 with a 3.55 GAA and .891 SV% and will not play Tuesday vs. Detroit due to an undisclosed injury. Cayden Primeau has been recalled from Laval in the meantime to take the 32-year-old's place while his on the mend.

The 32-year-old has struggled all season, with his 14-23-3 record, 3.56 GAA and .892 SV%. He takes on the Boston Bruins, who have won four straight games and are chasing history for the NHL's greatest single-season record.
