Pulling him was likely a way to keep Reimer a little more fresh to start a key game tonight in Toronto. Reimer has gone 4-7-1 with a 2.85 GAA and .914 SV% in March—one of those wins came vs. Toronto a few weeks ago, Reimer stopped 28 shots in a 7-2 win.

Reimer stopped all 25 shots the he faced in the Panthers’ 7-0 win vs. the Blackhawks on Saturday. Reimer has won his last two games while stopping 47 of 48 shots (.979 SV%). Tonight he will take on a Sabres team that has won three of their last four—but that’s on the heels of 10 of 12.

Reimer allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Panthers’ loss in Pittsburgh on Sunday. Reto Berra gave him a break on Tuesday, so Reimer will be back in goal tonight vs. the Coyotes. Reimer has gone 2-6-1 with a 3.13 GAA and .911 SV% in March, but draws a great matchup tonight vs. the Coyotes.
