He will hope to endless the losing streak tonight on the road.

Reimer will start Friday vs. the Hurricanes.

Reimer will take the net for his second start of the 2022-23 season and first start on North American soil. The 34-year-old played well in the Shark's opener a week ago, stopping 28 of 31 shots while getting minimal offensive support. He and the Sharks will be hoping to enter the win column for the first time this season but have the daunting task of doing so against the powerhouse that is the Hurricanes.

Reimer (upper-body) is questionable to be available on Saturday.

Reimer left Thursday's game with an upper-body injury after a collision with Logan Couture. Post-game, head coach Bob Boughner said that he thinks Reimer "might be OK" but that they were still doing tests. It sounds like Reimer won't be available to start Saturday, so look for Kaapo Kahkonen to get the nod and the Sharks may need to recall a goalie to serve as his backup.
