Blue Jackets defenseman James Wisniewski has been suspended for 12 games by the NHL for his clash last Friday with Minnesota Wild forward Cal Clutterbuck.
Tough suspension for Wisniewski which takes away a bit under 10 percent of his playing time. Despite scoring 10 goals and 51 points last season he likely finishes closer to the 40 point range on his new team with eight less games.

My opinion: #NHL trying to crack down hard on this stuff, but can't imagine Wisniewski gets more than a couple of games.
