A suddenly healthy Avalanche team represent a tough matchup for Halak, but the Bruins have been terrific on home-ice, with Halak going 4-0-2 with a 1.95 GAA, .940 SV% and one shutout at the TD Garden.

Tuukka Rask has started the last two games but Halak will start the front-end of their Monday/Tuesday back-to-back with Rask going Tuesday in Montreal. Boston has not lost in regulation on home-ice and Pittsburgh comes in having lost four of their last six.

So far he is 2-1-0 with a 1.69 GAA and .951 SV% in three starts and was 2-1-0 with a 2.36 GAA and .932 SV% in three games vs. Toronto last year.

Anaheim has started the season at 4-1-0 but are averaging just 2.20 goals per game, so don’t hesitate to start Halak on Monday.
