Megna has been a regular in the Avalanche lineup but will be replaced by Jacob MacDonald in the lineup on Wednesday. Megna has three assists in 20 games this season.
Megna had seven goals and two assists (nine points) in 13 games with the Eagles a season ago. The 31-year-old will likely serve as a reserve forward on Wednesday with Nathan MacKinnon (COVID-19) not available.
Megna will replace Colin Wilson, who is out with an undisclosed injury. Megna has three goals and one assist in seven games with the Eagles this season and has 20 points (10G / 10A) in 113 career NHL games with the Penguins, Rangers and Canucks.
Megna missed Tuesday’s game with the flu, but will get back into the lineup on Friday night. Megna, who skates on the third line and second power play, has just three goals and three assists (six points) in 28 games this season.
Megna will go from healthy scratch to tope line right winger. Megna has three goals in 18 games this season and will play with Daniel and Henrik Sedin tonight.
Megna has been sidelined since October 28th because of an undisclosed injury, but he will be back in the lineup tonight vs. Chicago. Megna will replace Derek Dorsett, who is out with an undisclosed injury of his own. Megna has no points in two games with the Canucks this season.
Megna played just 6:38 in the Canucks’ loss to the Oilers last night. With Megna out, the Canucks may have to play defenseman Alex Biega at forward vs. the Capitals on Saturday.
Megna, 26, has one goal and two assists (three points) in four games with Utica this season. Megna has registered 12 points (6G / 6A) in 54 career NHL games with the Penguins and Rangers.
Megna, 26, spent the majority of last season with Hartford (AHL) where he had 44 points (15G / 29A) in 68 games. He only appeared in six games with the Rangers and now heads to Vancouver where he will look to crack their roster in training camp. If he doesn’t he will start the year in Utica (AHL).
The Rangers signed Daniel Paille to a one-year contract on Thursday and he is expected to make his debut on Friday, so Megna has been reassigned to Hartford.
Megna has 18 points (7G / 11A) in 34 games with Hartford this season. He is expected to make his Rangers debut on Tuesday with Chris Kreider sidelined with a hand injury. He has 10 career NHL points in 48 games.
Megna was recalled on Monday, but did not play vs. the Hurricanes. He heads back to the AHL, where he has five goals and seven assists (12 points) in 21 games this season.
Megna will be a game-time decision for Monday’s game after being recalled earlier in the day. Megna has 12 points (5G / 7A) in 21 games with Hartford this season.
