The 2020 first-round pick is top-three protected, and the 2022 third-rounder is conditional on the Islanders winning the Stanley Cup this season. Pageau is in the midst of a career year, scoring 24 goals and adding 16 assists in 60 games this season. The 27-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free-agent on July 1.

Pageau missed the last two games before the All-Star break with a sore neck but head coach D.J. Smith expects him to play Monday vs. the Devils. Pageau has cooled off recently, scoring just one goal with one assist in his last seven games.

Pageau was a late-scratch on Thursday and will miss his second straight game with a sore neck on Saturday afternoon. Artem Anisimov will move up with Brady Tkachuk and Anthony Duclair while Pageau is out.

Pageau will miss his third straight game with an upper-body injury and will miss the Senators’ next two games before the break. With Pageau out, Filip Chlapik will remain in the Senators lineup on Monday.

Pageau was injured in the Senators final game before their bye week and won’t play tonight vs. the Blues. Pageau took to the ice for Wednesday’s practice but wasn’t able to make it through the session. With Pageau as day-to-day, Filip Chlapik will be recalled from Belleville (AHL) to take his spot in the lineup.

Pageau, 22, scored 10 goals and nine assists (19 points) in 50 games in his second NHL season. During his time in Binghamton (AHL), he had 21 points (11G / 10A) in 27 games.

With Zack Smith out for multiple months, the Senators have recalled Pageau to fill in. Pageau, 22, had two goals in 28 games with the Senators last season. He had 18 points (8G / 10A) in 25 games with Binghamton before his recall.

Pageau, 21, has appeared in 21 games with Ottawa this season, registering two points (two goals) and 10 penalty minutes. In 44 AHL games this season, Pageau has recorded 17 goals and 24 assists for 41 points. He could get into the lineup tonight vs. Carolina because Colin Greening is battling an undisclosed injury.

Pageau has recorded two goals in 21 games for the Senators this season. His return to the minors suggests that Chris Neil is ready to return to the lineup after missing the last five games.

Pageau recorded one goal in eight games with the Senators earlier this season. In his time with Binghamton he had six goals and 10 assists in 15 games. He is expected to dress tonight on the third line with Chris Neil and Colin Greening.

Pageau had one goal in eight games with the Senators.

The 20-year-old Pageau has seven goals and 22 assists (29 points) in 69 games in his first season in the AHL.
