Quick will start in the first game of the Western Conference Finals.

Quick allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Kings huge 6-2 win over the Ducks in game 7. Quick finished the series with a 2.32 GAA and .916 SV% in seven games vs. Anaheim. His 2.72 GAA and .914 SV% in the postseason is not typical Quick numbers, so look for him to improve on those numbers vs. the Hawks.

Quick stopped 21 of 22 shots in a 2-1 win over the Ducks on Wednesday. The win forced game 7 tonight back in Anaheim. Quick has a 2.38 GAA and .914 SV% through the first six games of the series, but has gone 2-1 with a 2.21 GAA and .927 SV% at the Honda Center in the second round. He is 2-0 in game 7's as he takes on John Gibson in his first game 7.

Quick surrendered four goals on 24 shots in the Kings 4-3 loss to the Ducks in game 5. For the second straight game Quick was outplayed by rookie John Gibson, who made 39 saves. After winning six straight games, Quick has dropped his last three games while posting a 3.94 GAA and .842 SV%. The Kings season is in jeopardy tonight, so Quick needs to rediscover his game before it is too late.

Quick was pulled after he allowed two goals on 11 shots in the first 20 minutes of game 4 on Saturday. Quick has given up five goals on 33 shots (.848 SV%) in the Ducks game 3 and 4 wins that tied the series up at 2-2. It has been a roller-coaster postseason for the 28-year-old, who holds a 2.83 GAA and .917 SV% in the first 11 playoff games.

While it was not Quick's best performance, the Ducks goaltending situation is up in the air again, which means the Kings have the goaltending advantage heading into game 4. Quick stopped 36 of 37 shots in the Kings' 3-1 win over the Ducks in game 2. He has stopped 69 of 72 shots (.958 SV%) so far in round 2. The 28-year-old has won six straight with a 1.29 GAA and .961 SV%. The Kings can take a commanding 3-0 lead with a win at home tonight. They are averaging 4.33 goals per game at Staples Center this postseason.

Quick stopped 33 of 35 shots in the Kings 3-2 OT win in Game 1. The Kings were seven seconds away from being down 1-0, but Marian Gaborik played hero as he tied it up with just seconds left and also tallied the OT-winner. Quick has won five in a row and now carries a 2.89 GAA and .917 SV% in eight postseason starts. He will look to steal game 2 and head back to Los Angeles with a 2-0 series lead.

Quick stopped 39 of 40 shots to give the Kings the 5-1 win over San Jose in game 1 of the Western Quarterfinals. He finished the first round with a pedestrian 3.10 GAA and .914 SV%, but what those numbers don't tell you is that he had a 1.25 GAA and .963 SV% after the Kings fell behind three games to none. Quick was 0-2-1 vs. the Ducks in the regular season, but that is not a cause for concern. The Ducks goaltending situation is in a state of flux right now, so L.A has a big edge between the pipes.

Quick gave up a single goal on 26 shots in a win over the Sharks in game 6. In the first three games of the series Quick had a 5.78 GAA and .852 SV% but in the last three games he has improved immensely posting a 1.33 GAA and .958 SV%. The Kings come into game 7 with all the momentum, but we have seen on many of occasions that anything cane happen in game 7.

Quick stopped all 30 shots that he faced in a 3-0 win over the Sharks in game 5. After falling into a 3-0 hole to start the playoffs, the Kings have battled back and now have a chance to send the series back to San Jose for game 7. In the last two games Quick has stopped 66 of 69 shots (.957 SV%).

Though that decision would still be on the table for Game 3, don’t expect the Kings to abandon the goaltender who posted a combined .948 save percentage in first rounds over the last two seasons.

Not exactly a resounding vote of confidence for the star goalie from his coach but you have to think he'll get an opportunity to redeem himself when the Kings return home for Game 3.

He won each of his starts vs. the Sharks this season, while posting a 1.47 GAA and .930 SV%. Heading into game 1, you have to give the goaltending edge to the Kings.

He has won 11 of his last 14 starts while holding his opponents to 1.79 goals per game with a .928 SV%. However, he has struggled against the Coyotes, going 1-2-0 with a 3.69 GAA and .869 SV% in the first three meetings.
