Lehtera is back on the Blues second line.

Lehtera was briefly demoted to the third line on Tuesday, but returned to the second line halfway through the contest. This morning he once again skated with Vladimir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz, so look for him to skate in the top-6 tonight vs. the Bruins.

Lehtera has missed the last six games with a concussion, but will return in his regular spot between Jaden Schwartz and Vladimir Tarasenko tonight vs. the Coyotes. Before getting hurt, he had just one goal and four assists in his last 15 games.

Despite Lehtera saying that he thinks he will play on Sunday, Blues head coach Ken Hitchcock confirmed that Lehtera will not play tomorrow. Look for Lehtera to be back in the lineup on Tuesday.

Lehtera is likely to miss his third straight game with concussion-like symptoms. The Blues have yet to announce a timeline for Lehtera’s return. Consider him day-to-day.

Lehtera left Thursday’s game with an upper-body injury and did not return. He will not play on Friday, but coach Hitchcock was not sure how long Lehtera will be out past Friday. Expect Paul Stastny to move up into the top-6 with Lehtera out.

The Blues signed Jori Lehtera to a two-year contract worth $5.5 million.

Lehtera, 26, was selected in the third-round (65th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Lehtera had 12 goals and 32 assists (44 points) in 48 games with Novosibirsk Sibir of the KHL last year. He has just seven games of North American hockey experience. He had one assist in those games with Peoria (AHL).
