Faulk (upper-body) will likely miss 10 days.

Faulk left Sunday's contest after playing just 1:46. The Hurricanes ruled out a concussion, but whatever the injury, Faulk will miss the next week and a half (roughly 5 games). Mike Komisarek will slide into the Hurricanes lineup while Faulk is sidelined.

This is a tough break for the Hurricanes, who have lost four games in a row. Faulk has three goals and seven assists in 29 games this season. There is just over five weeks left in the regular season, so Faulk will miss the rest of the Fantasy regular season.

Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has recalled defenseman Justin Faulk from the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League (AHL). Faulk was assigned to Charlotte on Oct. 19, and played in three games with the Checkers during the weekend, notching a goal and earning an assist (2 points).
