Yandle, 28, has one more year on his contract with a $5.25M cap-hit. He is a left shot that will likely line up next to Kevin Klein. He is a great offensive defenseman. Yandle skates, moves the puck and shoots well, but has been known to turn the puck over frequently. He has four goals and 37 assists (41 points) but is a league worst minus-32 in 63 games this season. However, he will love heading to New York to play for a good team and will help the Rangers PP that already ranks 11th in the NHL.

Cold Streak
Coyotes' #KeithYandle says on scale of 1-10 he'd give himself a "3 or 4." Expecting him to revert to top form very soon.
Look for Yandle to pick up his production despite having no goals through his first six games this season. Considering he is owned in 99 percent of leagues, perhaps you can convince a current owner to sell at below market value.
Line Change
High praise, for sure, but Yandle, 25, is coming off a year in which he scored 11 goals and recorded 59 points, third among NHL defensemen. He led the team with 24:22 minutes of ice time per game. He also has shown his durability by being the only Coyotes player to appear in all 82 regular-season games the past two seasons.
Yandle is well on his way to becoming an elite defender following a season where only Lubomir Visnovsky and Nicklas Lidstrom scored more. If he continues his solid offensive production, he should put to rest any stigmas of playing in a defensive system or on the lowly Coyotes. This season should be a good test for the Boston native.
