Bahl will head back to the press box as a healthy scratch after playing 15:00 TOI and picking up an assist in the Devils' previous contest vs. Dallas. The 22-year-old towering defenseman will hope to be back in the lineup soon so he can improve on his one goal, and two points in five games he has collected this season.

Bahl will make his second appearance with the Devils after being recalled from Utica (AHL) after collecting one assist and two PIMs in a quick three-game stint with the club. Bahl previously had a short three-game showing with New Jersey this year where he failed to pick up any points but also had two PIMs.

Bahl will likely serve as a reserve defenseman in Toronto on Wednesday. The 2018 second-round pick was scored three goals with 12 assists (15 points) in 49 AHL games this season. He has suited up in four games with the Devils this season and 11 games in the last two years combined.

The Devils are going through a small COVID-19 outbreak, so Studenic and Kevin Bahl were recalled from Utica as reinforcements. Bahl has two assists in 19 AHL games this season.

Bahl was a second-round pick in 2018 and will make his NHL debut Thursday vs. the Flyers. Bahl turned pro in 2021 and scored one goal with four assists (five points) in 26 AHL games with Binghamton.

Bahl was a second-round pick (No.55 overall) in 2018 and is in his fourth OHL season. The 19-year-old defenseman has 20 points (5G / 15A) in 28 games with the Ottawa 67’s and is currently in camp for Canada’s World Juniors team.
