Shattenkirk (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.

Shattenkirk was once again a full participant in Blues’ practice on Monday, but will miss his sixth straight game on Tuesday. The Blues coaching staff said it is now up to Shattenkirk when he returns. Whenever he feels like he can play, he will play. Monitor his status leading up to Thursday’s game vs. Anaheim.

Shattenkirk has missed the last three games and will probably miss his fourth straight tonight, but the fact that he has skated for three straight days and participated in the morning skate on Tuesday is a good sign that he isn’t far from a return.

Shattenkirk left Tuesday’s game with a lower-body injruy and did not skate this afternoon which suggests he will not be in the lineup tonight. With Shattenkirk out, look for Joel Edmundson to get back into the lineup and for Colton Parayko to take on a bigger role.

Shattenkirk suffered a lower-body injury on Tuesday and is questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Oilers. With Shattenkirk likely out, look for Colton Parayko to take on a bigger role and for Joel Edmundson to get back into the lineup.

The Blues head coach Ken Hitchcock said that Shattenkirk left for precautionary reasons and will be reevaluated on Wednesday. Shattenkirk missed a lot of time in 2014-15 with an abdominal injury. St. Louis is back in action on Thursday, so monitor Shattenkirk’s status leading up to their meeting with the Oilers.

Shattenkirk will play in his first game since February 1st. Shattenkirk missed 25 games but the All-Star will suit up on the third pairing with Barrett Jackman as well as anchor the top-power-play unit. Shattenkirk registered 40 points (8G / 32A) in 49 games before getting injured.

Shattenkirk has missed the last 16 games after undergoing surgery on his abdomen. Shattenkirk took part in line rush drills and has been on the ice for a couple of weeks now. His status remains week-to-week, but he is progressing well. It doesn’t appear as if a return is imminent, but it is definitely getting closer.

Shattenkirk has skated for a few days, including a 30-minute session this morning. So he is making progress, but he remains without a timetable. The Blues have gone 6-4-0 while averaging 2.60 goals per game without Shattenkirk, so they are definitely hoping for a speedy recovery. As he continues to skate, the Blues will start to get a better idea of how much longer he will be sidelined.

Shattenkirk will undergo abdominal surgery and is listed as week-to-week.

Shattenkirk will have the procedure in the next seven to 10 days and be listed as week-to-week following its completion. He eads all defensemen with 32 assists and ranks second with 40 points overall through 49 games this season. Expect him to miss at least two weeks, but with the week-to-week tag, there will not be daily updates on his status.

Shattenkirk (flu) rode the bike, didn't skate but looks good to go Wednesday.

Shattenkirk missed Monday's win over the WIld because of the flu but should be in the lineup tomorrow vs. Colorado. He has been great this season recording one goal and 15 assists with a plus-7 rating in 22 games. In his first game vs. his former team this season he had one assist with one shot on goal in 18:50 TOI.

Shattenkirk missed the Blues' morning skate today because he is sick. If he is unable to go Carlo Colaiacovo would make his season debut. Shattenkirk has one goal and 15 assists in 22 games. His 16 points has him tied for ninth amongst NHL defensemen.
