Kyle Okposo News
Okposo left Thursday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Okposo was forced to leave Thursday's game vs. Montreal early (3:47 ATOI) and did not return. Head coach Ralph Krueger said that it's not a head injury, which is good news, however, Jean-Sebastien Dea was called up on Friday which suggests that Okposo will miss Saturday's game.

Okposo is out indefinitely with a concussion.

Okposo has had trouble with concussions throughout his career so this is obviously scary news for the 31-year-old winger. Tage Thompson, who was called up to replace Okposo on Sunday, was hurt in that game so the Sabres will likely dig deeper into their farm system for replacements on Tuesday. Given his history with concussions, Okposo could be sidelined long-term.

Okposo (illness) will return to the Sabres' lineup on Tuesday.

Okposo missed the last two games with an illness, but will draw back into the lineup tonight in Vegas. Okposo has gotten off to a really slow start to the season, failing to record a point in six games—he has a minus-6 rating, four PIMS and 11 shots on goal. Tonight he will play on the second line with Ryan O’Reilly at centre and Sam Reinhart at left wing. He will also see time on the top power-play unit with Jack Eichel.
