Brown has spent all of 2021 in the AHL, scoring one goal with six assists in 12 games with Belleville. Tonight will be his first game at the NHL level this year but he has one goal and eight assists in 29 career games with Ottawa.

The 21-year-old centre is tied for the team-lead with seven points (3G / 4A) in five games and is expected to make his season debut vs. the Red Wings. The former No.11 overall pick (2016) has had a strong year in his first AHL campaign, ranking third on Belleville in points with 34 (12G / 22A) in 39 games. The 20-year-old is expected to make his season debut on Friday and has one assist in four career NHL games.
Brown had just one assist in four games with the Senators and heads back to Windsor, where he had 14 goals and 26 assists (40 points) in 35 games last season. This will be much better for Brown’s development and the move suggests that Colin White (wrist) could be back in the lineup soon.
