Thompson will start the fourth straight game for the Golden Knights as they continue to be cautious with Adin Hill (undisclosed), who has not played for the last month. Thompson was stellar in his last outing, saving 34 of 35 shots (.971 SV%) in a 4-1 win over the Nashville Predators. The 26-year-old Thompson has allowed three or fewer goals in each of his last four games (3-1-0), posting a tremendous .943 SV%. The Golden Knights are +115 home underdogs on Thursday against the Metropolitan division-leading New York Rangers.

Thompson is good to go and will return for Thursday's game against the Bruins after missing Wednesday's trip to Colorado due to an illness. Thompson was solid in Saturday's 5-2 victory over the Islanders, stopping 28 of the 30 shots he faced. He owns a 12-8-3 record on the season to go along with a .903 SV% and a 2.83 GAA. His days as the starting netminder for the Golden Knights could be numbered as Adin Hill nears a return from his undisclosed injury. Thompson will have plenty of work to do on Thursday as Vegas welcomes David Pastrnak and the Boston Bruins to town.

Thompson missed the Golden Knights' practice Tuesday and is not expected to join the team as they head out on a road trip to Denver Wednesday. It comes at a bad time as Adin Hill (undisclosed) has yet to return to the team (but is expected soon). The 26-year-old net-minder has a 12-8-3 record, 2.83 GAA and .902 SV% in 24 games played this season.

Thompson will start his fourth straight game for the Golden Knights on Thursday and look for only his second win in five starts. In his last six games (2-4-0), Thompson has allowed three or more goals four times, posting an ugly .866 SV% after posting a more serviceable .915 SV% in his five games prior (4-0-1). The Golden Knights are slight +103 home underdogs against a Panthers team that has won five straight, including a 4-2 victory over the Golden Knights on December 23rd.

Thompson will be back between the pipes for the Golden Knights on Thursday for the second time in as many nights after he made his return from an upper-body injury on Wednesday. It's a bit of a surprising move considering Thompson is coming off an injury and did not look particularly sharp in Anaheim on Wednesday, when he allowed five goals on just 26 shots enroute to a 5-2 defeat. Vegas will be hoping he can find his form and put an end to their four-game losing streak when they host the Kings on Thursday.

Thompson will draw the Golden Knights' crease for the first time in three games after backing up their previous two losses but will start Wednesday on the road in Anaheim. The 26-year-old has struggled compared to his previous two season in 2023-24, with his 10-5-3 record, 2.71 GAA and .905 SV%. He will look to get Vegas out of their current three-game slump as they take on Anaheim, who has lost their last two games and are 29th in the NHL in goals per game (2.58 GAA).

Adin Hill returned to action on Sunday but exited the game shortly after with an injury. Thompson jumped into the crease and saved 20 of 22 shots in relief (.909 SV%) en route to a 6-3 win over the Ottawa Senators and will start again on Tuesday. Thompson has won five of seven games in December (5-1-1), posting a .904 SV% in the process. The Golden Knights are +118 road underdogs against the Carolina Hurricanes, who have lost two straight games.

Adin Hill is nearing a return but is not ready to play yet, as Thompson will start for the second straight game and eighth time in the last nine games for the Golden Knights. Thompson has been serviceable since Hill went down with an injury, making his case to hopefully have at least a time-share when he returns, posting a .911 SV% in six games (4-0-1). The Golden Knights have won four straight games and are sizeable -200 home favourites against a Buffalo Sabres team that has lost two of their last three (1-1-1) and will be without top-six forward Jeff Skinner (upper-body).

Thompson will search for his third straight win when he returns to the crease on Tuesday against the Calgary Flames. The 26-year-old netminder has been solid all season, but especially impressive lately, posting a .929 SV% over his last four games (3-0-1). The Golden Knights are -191 home favourites against a Flames team that has lost two straight and four of their last five (1-4-0).
