Subban allowed one goal on 30 shots in the GoldenKnights win over the Predators on Saturday. Subban has only appeared in nine games this season, six of which on the road—where he has gone 1-5-0 with a 3.36 GAA and .890 SV%. Tonight he faces an Avalanche team that has lost nine of their last 10 games.
Subban allowed two goals on 38 shots in the Golden Knights win over the Devils on January 6th. Subban will make his second start against his brother and the Predators—in the first meeting, he allowed three goals on 28 shots in a 4-1 loss (Oct.30). He has only made two appearances on home ice, stopping 45 of 47 shots (.958 SV%).
Subban has been sidelined since January 6th but is ready to backup Marc-Andre Fleury at the very least. Subban has posted a 2.95 GAA and .904 SV% in eight appearances this season.
Subban missed Wednesday’s practice with an undisclosed injury and will miss at least Thursday’s game as well. Maxime Lagace has been recalled to serve as Marc-Andre Fleury’s backup.
